"If you’re like me, one of the hardest contractors to find through the years is an honest and reputable HVAC person. Well, look no further! I found one, and I can’t begin to explain how pleased I am with Carlos and CVC HVAC. But I’m going to try. On the 4th of July, our furnace stopped blowing A/C through the system. In the weeks leading up to this, my wife thought the system had worked harder (and longer) to cool our house. And we don’t set our temperature very low in the summer (78 degrees). After teaching myself everything I ever wanted to know about how a central air system works, I resigned myself to thinking we needed a new, and very costly, blower motor. Our house and its furnace and A/C unit are 24 years old, so I wasn’t surprised something like that had failed. I scoured the internet for an HVAC person to call the next day. I settled on giving Carlos at CVC HVAC a try, because I liked what I read in the Google reviews for his company. And very superficially, I liked the personal touch that came across in the photos he’d shared on his company’s website. I’ve worked in the IT industry for nearly 3 decades. There was just something about the combination of his website and the Google reviews that told me I’d be happy. I was not wrong. I called Carlos early on the morning of July 5th, and he told me he would be at my house by 10:30 am that same morning. He showed up on time with his boss (his very friendly wife), and within 15 minutes of being in the basement, he’d figured out the issue was our thermostat. He replaced the thermostat, cleaned the furnace fan, and added freon to the outdoor A/C condenser (where he found a mouse’s nest). The system is running great now! Carlos could have told me it was the blower motor, and I wouldn’t have questioned him for a second. But rather than sell me something I didn’t need, he actually fixed what was broken. Even though this is a really long-winded review, it could be longer with all the nice things I want to say about Carlos and his “boss.” I’ve finally found my HVAC person! Heck, if you’re smart, I’ve found YOUR HVAC person! If you need anything HVAC related or electrical done at your home, please give Carlos a call. He is the type of person who deserves to succeed!"
